Winter is in full swing — which means cozy blankets are pulled out of storage and crackling fires are sparked to keep us warm and safe against the dark skies and snowy nights of the season.
You might feel things slowing down as the end of the year draws near, and we lean into the lull with loved ones; gathering around Hanukkah candlelight, Christmas trees, and Kwanzaa tables to swap gifts and stories filled to the brim with the love and blessings of spirit.
My holiday wish for you as you hold your loved ones close (both furry and human) is that you take a moment to reflect on the beauty, gifts and lessons that 2024 has brought into your life.
Because the time is coming to dream bigger.
Listening to the whispers on the cosmic wind, 2025 promises to overflow with miracles and sweet new adventures.
On December 1st, the Sagittarius New Moon kick starts our intention setting with sparkly good vibes for the New Year, and I’ve drawn up a ritual plan to help you make the most of that magical energy.
Make no bones about it: Sagittarius does not think small. The cosmic archer is ready to aim his arrow and send it flying into the universe, to show trailblazers across the planet how to shine even more brightly out into the world.
This is an ideal time to create change for what you want to manifest in your physical reality.
We all have dreams and deep desires. So I urge you to use this month to examine yours, and reflect on what you’ve achieved and also how you can make room energetically for those positive changes + opportunities that await you in the coming months.
That’s why for this month’s ritual, I want to help you create a vision board for your positive affirmations to come to life.
Learn how to create your magical treasure map for 2025 here.
You will need:
- Scissors
- Glue or thumbtacks
- A poster board, corkboard, or some kind of surface you can paste the elements of your vision board on.
- A assortment of beautiful magazines
- Optional: A magnetic glass board to hold your magazine clippings as you work.
Step 1:
Flip through the magazines, and begin cutting out images, words and phrases of things that support those goals and make you feel empowered and positive. (You’re also welcome to print things off the internet as well, and write or doodle anything you wish.)
Step 2:
Speak this spell to yourself as you bring the images together:
“I envision each image drawing to me what I aspire to have in my life. They are directions on my own delicious treasure map, leading me to amazing vacation spots, words I desire to make true in my life, homes I’d love to live in, food I’d love to eat, workshops I’ve always wanted to sign up for, places I want to visit, and anything that inspires me to live a more spiritually and emotionally fulfilled life.”
As you build your soul treasure map, a.k.a. your magical vision board, pour your passion into the creative projects you add to your dynamic cauldron. Stir the thoughts and ideas in there. Allow them to percolate and grow.
Step 3:
Once your vision board is complete, hang it somewhere you’ll see it every day.
Through the creative visualization process, you are, in essence, allowing the Universe to support your dreams by creating shifts that will bring you into energetic alignment with your desires and goals.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised how your energy will shift and begin magically attracting new opportunities to your realm of possibilities. It’s the feelings that the images and phrases evoke that energetically charges the treasure map with your intent and creates fertile soil for the seeds of your magic to blossom.
